FGV student is selected for the Top China program

Murillo Barreira Bertolucci, an undergraduate student at FGV has been selected to participate in the Santander University Top China program. Murillo won a scholarship and will represent FGV on the course that aims to incentivize bilateral cooperation to debate themes of global interest to Brazil and China.

Murillo Barreira Bertolucci, an undergraduate student at FGV?s EPGE - Brazilian School of Economics and Finance has been selected to participate in the Santander University Top China program. Murillo won a scholarship and will represent FGV on the course that aims to incentivize bilateral cooperation to debate themes of global interest to Brazil and China. The program lasts three months and will include lectures at both Peking and Shanghai Jiao Tong Universities.In China, Murillo will have the opportunity to get to know Chinese culture by studying at the two universities as well as participating in cultural trips. The Top China program is responsible for the return flights to Shanghai and Beijing, transfers, accommodation, food as well as the costs of the course, materials and certificates. Lectures will be in English.The course will broach subjects such as the environment, economic growth, the population challenges of China as well as commercial opportunities between the China and Brazil. There will also be debates on inclusive urban development, renewable energy, law and development, artificial intelligence in the internet era, as well as other themes.Celebrating its 8th edition in 2016, the Top China program has awarded 86 scholarships to undergraduate students and professors from 23 Brazilian Universities. Murillo will travel to the Asian powerhouse in July and will be the second student from EPGE to participate in the program. Vinícius Gomes Almeida represented the University in 2014.
