FGV Energy held a welcome luncheon for the General Director of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL), André Pepitone, on September 14. Participants discussed topics related to Brazil’s energy matrix during the event.

The President of Fundação Getulio Vargas, professor Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal, and the Executive director of FGV Energy, Carlos Otavio Quintella, also welcomed executives Efrain Pereira Cruz, director of ANEEL; Wilson Ferreira, president of Eletrobras; Marcio Zimmermann, former minister of the Department of Mines & Energy (MME), and Luiz Roberto Bezerra, superintendent of FGV Energy, and Gustavo De Marchi, consultant of FGV Energy.

André Pepitone specializes in Regulation and has extensive experience in the fields of energy concession and market surveys. Pepitone took over as General Director of ANEEL on August 15.
