Author of “How Democracies Die” participates in FGV web seminar

Steven Levitsky, a Harvard University professor and author of the bestseller “How Democracies Die,” will take part in a web seminar called “COVID-19 and the Challenges Faced by Democracies” on April 29, at 2 pm. The event will be broadcast by the FGV´s School of Public Policy and Government (FGV EPPG) via the Zoom platform.

The political scientist will give a talk titled “Challenges Faced by Democracies as Governments Across the World Exercise Emergency Powers,” as part of FGV EPPG’s series of web seminars about “Public Policy: An Objective Look at the Covid-19 Crisis.”

FGV EPPG’s web seminars all feature the school’s dean, Edson Kondo, and Professor Graziella Guiotti Testa.
