The entertainment sector has been shut down during the pandemic crisis. Movie theaters are standing empty, productions are on hold and shows have been postponed or cancelled. To discuss this subject, FGV Projetos and the Brazilian Institute of Legal Studies on Infrastructure (IBEJI) will hold another digital roundtable on May 7, at 5 pm. The topic this week is Entertainment: The World of Culture and Entertainment After the Crisis.

The event will feature Duda Magalhães, the president of Dream Factory, and Marcio Fraccaroli, the CEO of Paris Filmes. The guests will talk about alternatives the sector has been pursuing to tackle the crisis, such as live music shows on social networks. The debate’s purpose is to show the size of COVID-19’s impacts across the sector, emergency measures and how the entertainment industry is preparing to resume its activities after the pandemic.
