How can we overcome the challenges imposed by the pandemic and ensure that students learn in this period? To discuss this question, the Center for Excellence and Innovation in Education Policies (FGV CEIPE) will hold a virtual seminar on September 17, at 2 pm, featuring the Education Ministry’s new basic education secretary, Izabel Pessoa. The other speakers will be Renato Feder and Vitor de Angelo, the state education secretaries of Paraná and Espírito Santo, respectively.

During the meeting, Izabel Pessoa will explain how the ministry is supporting local education networks with different stages of remote teaching. Renato Feder and Vitor de Angelo will present the work they have done in their education systems. The webinar will be moderated by Deborah Lourenço, FGV CEIPE’s coordinator. The opening remarks will be given by FGV CEIPE’s director, Claudia Costin.
