DAPP presents methods of network analysis to the director of the London School of Economics

The director of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Craig Calhoun, was welcomed on Tuesday, July 29, by the president of Fundação Getulio Vargas, Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal, during a visit to the institution. In the morning, the two leaders held a meeting attended by the director of FGV/DAPP, Marco Aurélio Ruediger; the director of FGV/EPGE - Graduate School of Economics, Rubens Cysne; the executive director of FGV Press, Marieta de Moraes Ferreira; the director of Business Studies, Antonio Carlos Porto Gonçalves, and also the executive secretary of LSE, Hugh Martin.The meeting discussed the greater exchange of students between LSE and FGV and in research projects. In the afternoon, Calhoun made a visit to the main offices of the Public Policy Analysis Division (FGV/DAPP), where he participated in a meeting where the monitoring and network analysis methods developed by the Division were presented. Besides Marco Aurélio Ruediger, researchers Roberta Novis, Amaro Grassi and Pedro Lenhard participated in this meeting.
