FGV Energy discusses in New York the regulation of the energy market

FGV Energy attended the 37th annual conference of the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE) - which took place on June 15-18, in New York. In this edition, IAEE's goal was to discuss the relationship between energy and economic growth, and involved experts and presentations of scientific articles in the industry.At the meeting, the researcher Lavinia Hollands spoke about the regulation of the electricity market with representatives of European universities and members of the regulatory authority of Turkey (EMRA) and the UK (Ofgem). The event also included the participation of the President of the Energy Research Company of Brazil (EPE), Maurício Tolmasquim - who took part in the closing panel of the event along with the director of the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University, Jason Bordoff, and the former Minister of Energy of Chile and the World Bank's Director, Ricardo Raineri.The IAEE conference is an annual event to debate critical issues on the energy sector, attracting representatives from universities, the government and the industry.The next IAEE international seminar will take place in May 2015 in Antalya, Turkey.
