FGV's São Paulo Law School launches book on the National Financial System Resource Council

The work intends to provide tools and refine the debate on the actions by the National Financial System Resource Council (CRSFN), commonly known as ?Conselhinho? (Little Council) ?  agency that is part of the Ministry of Finance and operates as the regulator of the Brazilian Securities Market.

The book ?Estudos avançados de mercado de capitais: Conselho de Recursos do Sistema Financeiro Nacional? (Advanced studies of capital markets: National Financial System Resource Council), coordinated by professors of FGV's São Paulo Law School (DIREITO SP) Viviane Muller Prado and Juliana Bonacorsi de Palma, will be lauched tomorrow, at São Paulo.The work intends to provide tools and refine the debate on the actions by the National Financial System Resource Council (CRSFN), commonly known as ?Conselhinho? (Little Council) ?  agency that is part of the Ministry of Finance and operates as the regulator of the Brazilian Securities Market.From an empirical survey on the Council's decisions originated from the Brazilian Securities Market, the book provides studies on the securities market regulation, approved administrative proceeding, prescription, reformation in pejus and exchange policy, besides making a radiography of the acts by the Little Council as the final instance for decisions regarding illegal market practices.   ?To attorneys, the empirical analyses addressed in the book are important to build strategic defenses, appeals and other actions involving the financial system?, explains Viviane Muller.The launch is open to the public and takes place at Livraria Cultura of Conjunto Nacional, starting at 6 pm.The address is avenida Paulista, 2037, Bela Vista neighborhood.
