The Center for Retailing Excellence (FGVcev) at Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP) is holding the Retail and Shopping Forum on October 18 and 19, starting at 8:30 am. The event will be in person, at the school’s site in Sao Paulo.

The objective of the forum is to bring together C-Level executives from Brazilian retailers to discuss how to implement trends and innovations in retail companies in practice. The event will also explore new ways to optimize retail performance, applying strategies and tactics to sell more, in a superior way, contributing to society and making retailers better in all their business dimensions: human, processes, technology, positioning, strategy, communication and marketing. Among many representatives of Brazilian retailing, the speakers will include Marcelo Silva, former CEO of Magazine Luiza and IDV; Sérgio Zimerman, CEO of Petz; José Guimarães, CEO of Novo Mundo; and Ilca Sierra, chief experience marketing officer at VIA.
