Auditório Itaú is inaugurated at FGV in São Paulo

On March 20, Fundação Getulio Vargas in São Paulo opened its new space, Itaú Auditório (auditorium) - another result of the partnership between the two institutions which started in 1995. The launching ceremony was opened by FGV's president, Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal, and the director of São Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV/EAESP), Maria Tereza Leme Fleury.Then, the lecture Liderança e Protagonismo no Século XXI? (Leadership and Protagonists in the XXI Century) was offered, which was attended by Alessandro Carlucci, Natura's president; Candido Botelho Bracher, president and CEO of Itaú BBA; Carlos Lima, partner and president of Integration Consultoria; Daniel Annenberg , CEO of Detran-SP; and Luiz Schwarcz, editor of Companhia das Letras. The debate was moderated by EAESP's professor, Luiz Carlos Cabrera.Auditório Itaú has a capacity of 318 seats and will host events such as lectures, debates and seminars. The work was carried out by the Operations Divisions of FGV and coordinated by the architect Ricardo Brenlha.It is located at rua 9 de Julho, 2029, São Paulo.About the FGV and Itaú partnershipBesides the auditorium, the partnership with Itaú will also have a computer lab, scholarship funds for undergraduate, master's and Ph.D. students studying finance, besides the support for academic activities.Please click here and check out photos of the event.
