Fundação Getulio Vargas discusses situation of the Atlantic countries at event in Mexico

A collaborative project among thirteen international institutions, Atlantic Future aims to map new trends, perspectives and interregional dynamics among Europe, Africa and the Americas.

On February 18-22, the specialist in sustainable development of FGV's Center for International Exploration and Intelligence (NPII), Marina Drummond, attended the second meeting of the Atlantic Future - hosted by CIDE - Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas, which took place in Mexico City, Mexico. A collaborative project among thirteen international institutions, Atlantic Future aims to map new trends, perspectives and interregional dynamics among Europe, Africa and the Americas.The first project meeting was held in November 2013 in Rabat, Morocco, in which the analyst Inês Sousa, from NPII, represented FGV. The next meeting, scheduled for October, will be at FGV's main offices in Rio de Janeiro.   Details of the Atlantic Future are available on the project's page: http://www.atlanticfuture.eu/
