FGV's Rio de Janeiro Law School ranks first place among private courses in Brazil

Fundação Getulio Vargas's Rio de Janeiro Law School ranked once again first place overall in Rio de Janeiro in the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) Examination. In this evaluation - the 11th Brazilian Bar Association Exam - Rio de Janeiro Law School also ranked 1st place among private institutions on a national level, considering the colleges that had at least ten graduate students who participated in the 1st phase of the Exam.Of the 26 students of the School who took the 11th Exam, 14 were approved, which corresponds to 53.85% of approval. For the coordinator of Rio de Janeiro Law School's Legal Practice Center, André Mendes, the result shows that even with an innovative curriculum, Rio de Janeiro Law School continues achieving great results in the Brazilian Bar Association Exam, which requires the traditional encyclopedic content that characterizes the Law courses.In 2013, the School also ranked 1st in the 10th Brazilian Bar Association Examination among public and private universities in Rio de Janeiro and 1st among private institutions in Brazil. In total, 93% of Rio de Janeiro Law School's graduates have already passed the exam.The 11th Brazilian Bar Association Exam evaluated students from 1,291 campuses across the country.
