As from today, The Center of Excellence in Retail (GVcev) of FGV's São Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP), in partnership with the Federation of Trade Associations in the State of São Paulo (FACESP) and SEBRAE-SP, will take more than 160 people to the 103rd edition of Retail's Big Show 2014, by the National Retail Federation (NRF), in the United States.Composed of seminars, discussion forums, presentations of global company cases and exhibitions of products and technologies, the event is the largest and most traditional retail fair of the world. The delegation - composed of retail businesspeople and  entrepreneurs of different sizes and industries in Brazilian economy, will participate in all of the congress program and a series of activities on January 10-18, with technical visits to retail stores in New York, discussion sessions and exclusive workshops with GVcev professors, in addition to a course specially designed for the group at Babson College in Boston, with the aim of connecting the trends presented at the NRF 2014 to the Brazilian reality.According to the coordinator of GVcev, Professor Jacques Gelman, the aim of this program is to provide participants with an intensive learning experience about American and global retail and facilitate networking opportunities among Brazilian businesspeople who are part of the group.Please click here and learn more about the program (in Portuguese).
