GVces Forum presents results of sustainability projects

The Center for Sustainability Studies (GVces) of São Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV/EAESP) held its Annual Forum on December 4th. The goal was to share the work developed this year and point out projections for 2014, and to initiate the celebrations for the 10th anniversary of the Center of Studies, completed in September.Researchers, companies and other partners of the four initiatives of GVces -Companies for Climate Platform (EPC), Local Development and Large Ventures (IDLocal), Innovation and Sustainability in the Value Chain (ISCV) and Trends in Ecosystem Services (TeSE) - met during the event to share experiences and talk about the results of 2013. These initiatives correspond to projects that encourage the integration of organizations in order to co-develop tools, solutions, strategies and policies related to sustainable development. The works receive guidance in four areas: climate, innovation, ecosystem services and local development.In an interview with the website, the vice-coordinator Paulo Branco explained that GVces wants to be a hub to strengthen innovation ecosystems in Brazil, and added: sustainability challenges can be translated into business opportunities, and innovation is a key resource to do that.Please click here and check out the highlights of each initiative presented during the Forum (in Portuguese).
