FGV is the leader in education of CEOs in Brazil

Fundação Getulio Vargas is the leading higher education institution for training CEOs in Brazil, according to the magazine Época Negócios. The edition entitled Do you want to be a CEO? narrates the personal and academic trajectory of the leaders of 120 major companies in the country. In the special edition, FGV emerges in the undergraduate education of such leaders: 11 executives (or 9.7% of the surveyed presidents) studied at FGV?s São Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV/EAESP). One explanation for this fact, according to the article, is the pioneering spirit of the School. Founded in 1954, it was the first school to offer an undergraduate degree in Business Administration in Brazil. Among its former students we can note people such as Abílio Diniz and Murilo Ferreira, from Vale, highlights the article. The magazine also mentions EAESP's pragmatism, whose focus is the reality of the labor market - in addition to strong theoretical formation.FGV is also mentioned as a winner in the post-graduate category as it has been chosen by 20% of executives who wanted to complement their studies. When it comes specifically to post-graduation, FGV appears again at the top of the list of the institutions preferred by Brazilian presidents, says Época. For the director of FGV Management, Professor Mario Couto Pinto, it could not be any different. Three factors demonstrate our advantage. The quality of our courses, the time we have been working in the MBA market - two decades throughout Brazil - and the number of classes we have, says Mario, who also recalls EAESP's tradition. The history of EAESP gets mixed up with the history of Administration in the country. The edition Do you want to be a CEO? by Época magazine was published in November. Please click here to learn more about EAESP.Please click here to learn more about the MBAs offered by FGV.
