FGV professor receives award from ABRIG for welcoming female voices in government relations project
The coordinator of FGV Executive Education’s MBA in Government Relations in Sao Paulo, Andréa Gozetto, recently received an award from the Brazilian Institutional and Government Relations Association (ABRIG) for “Institutional and Government Relations Connection,” a lifelong learning initiative. This recognition for her work was due to her welcoming of female voices, given that 60% of the participants in this network of institutional and government relations professionals are women.
Gozetto created this project in order to encourage a state of mind of constant development, regardless of whether participants are in an academic environment. The platform was designed to cater to all levels, from beginner to advanced, with special learning pathways.
It’s meant to be more than a course, as there are no classes, but rather weekly meetings at which technical knowledge is improved, experiences are shared and input is received from the students.
According to Gozetto, Institutional and Government Relations Connection is developing a network that allows professionals with different hierarchical levels and positions to connect with one another. The live meetings allow direct interaction with Andréa Gozetto and her colleagues, and participants can also network in a WhatsApp group and Facebook community. “We make high-quality content available by bringing together the market’s leading names in a safe and democratic environment of ideas,” she says.
