FGV evaluates Brazil Risk at a seminar in Rio de Janeiro

This Monday, December 2nd, the Center for Global Economics at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV/CEM) - in partnership with the Federation of Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Firjan), Standart & Poor's and the Brazilian Institute of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (IBP) - will hold the seminar Reassessment of Brazil Risk. The meeting will bring together the financial market, entrepreneurs, rating agencies and the government to discuss the uncertainties of the Brazilian economy and its impact on the risk rating of the country.The level of uncertainty of the Brazilian economy is above normal, says CEM's president, Carlos Langoni. And these uncertainties are not caused by external factors, but generated internally. Therefore, this seminar will focus on how to deal with them, explains the economist.The debate will be attended by BNDES? president, Luciano Coutinho; the president of Firjan, Eduardo Eugênio Gouvêa Vieira; the CEO of the AGN Group, Roger Agnelli; IBP's president, João Carlos de Luca; the chief economist of Bradesco, Octavio Barros; the financial director of Petrobras, Almir Barbassa; the representative of Standart & Poor's in Brazil, Regina Nunes, among others.The seminar Reassessment of Brazil Risk will take place from 9 am to 13 pm at Firjan's main offices, in Rio de Janeiro.
