The Latin-American Public Policy Center of Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV/CLPP) and the Latin America Development Bank (CAF) will hold a presentation on the 2013 Economy and Development Report - which will feature a lecture by CAF's senior economist, Lucila Berniell, on Ventures in Latin America: from subsistence to efficient transformation. One of the main goals of the lecture is to demonstrate the close connection between two typical phenomena of the Latin American economy: the restriction to the growth of dynamic companies and the abundance of subsistence ventures. Recognizing this bond is crucial when creating public policies in favor of new developments, emphasizes Lucila.The lecture, which will be taught in Spanish, is open to the public and will take place today, November 28th, at 5pm, in auditorium 537 of FGV's main offices, in Rio de Janeiro.* at the picture, the city of Bogotá, Colombia.
