FGV study evaluates impact of Mais Médicos program
Research by the Board for Public Policies Analysis of Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV/DAPP) in partnership with FGV Projetos evaluated the perception about the Mais Médicos Program, by the federal government. The study based itself on the state of Rio Grande do Sul and the result was announced this week by Governor Tarso Genro in a meeting held online with the Minister of Health, Alexandre Padilha.
The preliminary research indicates that 90% of the respondents said they've already heard about the program and that 80% of them supported the initiative. 13% of the respondents, on the other hand, were against it.
Finally, the evaluation showed that 77% of the respondents considered the impact of these actions very positive or positive.
The survey was carried out between September 21st and 25th, with 2014 interviews carried out.
