DINT debates economics and management at congress in the Argentine capital

FGV's international director, professor Bianor Cavalcanti, participated in Econ 2013 - international congress on Economics and Management offered by the College of Economics at the University of Buenos Aires (FCE-UBA) to celebrate the centenary of the institution.  Bianor Cavalcanti participated in the panel Administration, Finance and control of the public sector: for a converged and integrated approach in education. The general objective of the panel was to discuss the experiences of the participants and their corresponding Administration and Public Policies teaching institutions, and in particular the inter-relation with the financial management and internal and external control of the industry and public finances.The event was held at the college's headquarters and was attended by representatives from more than 30 countries, who participated in debates and conferences about handling the economic reality of current public policies, as well as their projections for the future.According to the professor, the event brought together scholars and public managers who favored the analysis of shortcomings in the systems of planning, scheduling and control and their implications for public management staff training and qualification, he explains.Econ 2013 took place on October 7-11.
