EBAPE undergraduate program is ranked first in Rio in MEC's evaluation
FGV's Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (FGV/EBAPE) was granted one more maximum accreditation by the Ministry of Education (MEC). This time, in the 2012 National Examination of Student Performance (Enade) - which evaluated the undergraduate courses in Administration (in-class) and the Undergraduate Technology distance course in Managerial Processes. Both were granted grade 5.
The classroom Administration course ranked first in Rio de Janeiro and 29th among the 7,228 courses evaluated throughout Brazil. The course on Managerial Processes, on the other hand, elected the best course of Brazil for three consecutive years (2009, 2010 and 2011) and with the CEL seal - certified by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), ranked 12th in Rio de Janeiro among the 409 programs evaluated in the state. According to the MEC, only 5.4% of the courses in Brazil obtained the maximum accreditation. In December 2012, the School had already been ranked 1st in Administration in Rio and among the 10 best of Brazil in the area, according to the General Index of Courses (IGC).
For the director of the School, Professor Flávio Carvalho de Vasconcelos, the positive outcome of the undergraduate courses of FGV/EBAPE reflects the commitment of the School's faculty with academic excellence. To be ranked first in Rio de Janeiro and 7th in Brazil in Enade shows the commitment of our professors in associating the syllabus to the reality demanded by the market, he said.
The head of the center for graduate studies of the School, Professor Henrique Heidtmann Neto, emphasizes the importance of the participation of all and the common goal. The commitment and dedication of students, professors, managers and administrative technicians with the School were essential to achieve this result, all strategically aligned with our mission which is to train leaders to work for the development of Brazil.
