FGV Online was awarded with the prize Top Quality Brazil - Business Quality with Social and Cultural Responsibility in the area of distance education by the Brazilian Academy of Merit Awards (ABRAHM). The ceremony took place at the Senate in Brasília, last Tuesday, October 1st. In its 50th edition, the award recognized initiatives of private companies committed to sustainable development and social responsibility. FGV Online won the Gold Seal Medal of the Top Quality Prize Brazil.This prize crowns our entrepreneurial spirit, our technical-pedagogical quality and our entire effort employed during the past few years to establish a well structured and sustainable human capital and intellectual unit. I am very proud I've helped to develop the FGV Online brand, said the vice-director of IDE/FGV, Stavros Xanthopoylos, present at the ceremony.During the ceremony, the 33th edition of the event Tribute to JK - Exaltation to Entrepreneurship took place, in celebration of the 111 years of the birth of former president Juscelino Kubitscheck.At the occasion, FGV's president, Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal, was granted the Cross of Merit of the Entrepreneur JK in the distinguished category of Commander. The tribute recognizes individuals who embody the entrepreneurial spirit of JK and who have contributed to the development of Brazilian society.
