Last event of the series Love and Politics in Shakespeare takes place this week

This Saturday, September 14, FGV's São Paulo Law School (DIREITO GV) closes the cycle of debates Love and Politics in Shakespeare - promoted by Professor José Garcez Ghirardi - with the analysis of the play Hamlet.Set in Denmark, the text tells the story of how Prince Hamlet tries to take revenge for the death of his father, killing his uncle Cláudio, who poisoned him, and then took over the throne marrying Hamlet's mother, and draws a map of the life path in real and faked madness - from an oppressive suffering to boiling anger - and explores themes such as betrayal, revenge, incest, corruption and morality.The discussion on Hamlet will be in Portuguese at the theater Eva Herz, at Livraria Cultura of Conjunto Nacional, in São Paulo, at 11am. Entrance is free.Love and Politics in Shakespeare is a production of the Lawyers Association of São Paulo, in partnership with São Paulo Law School and Livraria Cultura.
