EMAp receives works for I Symposium on Big Data and Public Health

The deadline for submitting works for the I Symposium on Big Data and Public Health - organized by FGV's School of Applied Mathematics (EMAp), in partnership with Fiocruz and the National Institute of Space Research (INPE) - is September 30.   With the presence of specialists from various academic disciplines and leaders of government sectors, the event will present the complexity of the collection, management and analysis of data related to public health problems, in addition to discussing the challenges between Big Data and Public Health in the 21st century.   Those interested should visit the website to register and get more information. The symposium will take place on October 24 and 25, at FGV's headquarters, in Rio de Janeiro.
