Fundação Getulio Vargas is the first Brazilian institution present on University Pages - a service launched by the professional network LinkedIn, according to its Education strategy, with the aim of monitoring users, from university to professional career choices.  Through this tool, participants receive news from FGV, ask questions and get to know the trajectory of students and former students. It is possible to filter the results by location, business, industry and learn about the skills that former students have acquired throughout their professional careers, LinkedIn explains in a statement.   According to the company, the University Pages will benefit pre-university students. From September 12, the network will be open to this public, who will be able to learn about universities all over the world and create its own network of friends and family. For FGV's communications and marketing director, Marcos Facó, the pioneering role of the new service is aligned with the institution's strategy of increasingly bringing its audience closer through digital channels. FGV must always be present, in an appropriate way - the University Page will allow this, with more effective resources and focused on the educational market, says Facó. Institutions such as INSEAD, New York University, UCSD and University of Michigan, among two hundred others, have already created their own pages as well.   To access FGV's University Page on LinkedIn, please click here.   Watch LinkedIn's video with some tips for students (in English).
