Aloisio Araújo is the new president of SAET

On July 22, the professor of FGV/EPGE - Graduate School of Economics, Aloisio Araujo, took office as the president of the Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory (SAET) - the main global academic entity exclusively dedicated to the progress of economic theory. Hence, FGV/EPGE is once more internationally recognized for the quality of its research. The School's academic staff further relies on three of the four researchers in the country that conquered the position of Fellow Member of the Econometric Society; besides Aloisio Araujo, professors Paul Klinger Monteiro and Marcelo Moreira who hold this title. The ceremony took place during the annual congress of SAET, held in Paris, between July 22 and 27.
