Fifth edition of FGV Online Magazine highlights the importance of evaluating long distance education

The fifth edition of Magazine FGV Online is already on air, a virtual publication of FGV's distance education program. With the central theme Evaluation in Distance Education and E-learning, the magazine discusses the role of evaluations in educational processes and as a resource for the continuous improvement of teaching practices. In this issue, FGV Online further brings an interview with the program's educational advisor, professor Elisabeth Silveira, who talks about the importance of objectivity in educational assessments and the encouragement to the responsible use of references available on the Internet, and a review of journalist Cristina Massari about the book Assessment in Distance Education and E-Learning, by the Canadian authors Valerie Ruhe and Bruno D. Zumbo, from University of British Columbia.
