EAESP holds social business competition Transforma Brasil

The Center for Entrepreneurship and New Business (GVcenn) at FGV's São Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP), in partnership with the Institute of Corporate Citizenship (ICE), will hold the Social Business Plan competition 'Transforma Brasil' - whose objective is to create and implement business projects which demonstrate social potential to produce relevant social and/or environmental impact.  The competition has six stages. The first, for registration, begins today and will continue until September 1st. In order to register, all interested parties (individuals or teams of up to three people) should visit the website www.transformabrasil.com.br, fill out the registration form and enter the information regarding the idea or project of the social business. Registrations are free of charge and should be made in Portuguese or English.  The top three teams will get prizes and all finalists will receive a scholarship to attend the Social Finances and Businesses Forum, which will take place from April 8 to 10, 2014, in the city of São Paulo.  The initiative also includes the participation of FEA-USP and Insper.  Click here and learn more. Sponsorship: Fundação Telefônica, Instituto Quintessa, Avina and Avina Américas
