Article by professor at EBAPE compares demonstrations in Brazil to the internet

Professor and coordinator of EBAPE's Laboratory of Government and e-Business Research (e:lab), Luiz Antonio Joia, wrote for the July edition of Info Exame magazine the article, The digital revolution and the Tupiniquim Wintering, in which he compares the demonstrations in Brazil to some features of the virtual world. What we see is the transposition of the web to the asphalt. A huge number of people discovered that, without intermediaries, formal leadership, a pre-established governance and anonymity, anything can be said and posted, says Joia, who further drew a parallel between the questions about the control of the internet and the claims.
