The Weekly Consumer Price Index - (IPC-S), prepared by FGV's Brazilian Institute of Economics (IBRE), registered a decline in the growth rate for the fifth consecutive week, while presenting a range of 0.07% - 0.16 % below the rate published in the last calculation. This time, all seven Brazilian state capital cities which were surveyed reported a decrease in their change rates. According to the survey, the recall on the increase in public transport fares in different cities helped inflation lose its strength in July. Check out the full results on IBRE's website.
