FGV Library has just opened in Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, a lounge dedicated to the institution's community and clients in general. The goal is to provide an area that can be used by students, professionals and scholars for reading, meetings and events - just like during the launch of the book History as a Profession: the constitution of a disciplinary field, by professor Marieta de Moraes Ferreira, which took place in the space on July 3. The manager, Nuno Pedroso, states that complimentary espressos and teas are served at the place, and a snack service is also being contemplated and is currently under negotiation. Nuno invites all FGV's staff, students and professors to visit the space. The new lounge is located next to FGV's Library, at the address Rua Jornalista Orlando Dantas, 44.
