On January 23, the president Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal welcomed to lunch Khalid Al Jaradi, Oman's ambassador in Brazil, Tamer Mansour, responsible for government relations for the Arabian-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, and Fernanda Baldo, assistant ambassador. FGV's international director, Bianor Cavalcanti, and the executive director of the Public Policy Latin American Center, Marlos Lima, also participated in the event. The objective of the ambassador's mission is to get to know the operation of strategic sectors in Brazil so that Oman may acquire knowledge and establish cooperation, besides checking possibilities and areas of investment. The ambassador met with representatives of FGV to prospect interchange and exchange of expertise between Fundação Getulio Vargas and Sultan Qaboos University in Muscat, capital of the country. The lunch took place in the Grand Hall of the presidency.* *in the photo from left to right: Marlos Lima, Fernanda Baldo, Tamer Mansour, Ambassador Khalid Al Jar, Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal and Bianor Cavalcanti.
