The Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (EBAPE) through its International Relations coordination, has just signed a cooperation agreement with Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management, the school of business pertaining to the Ivy League group, Cornell University.

Although established in 1946, the idea of a school aimed at business like Johnson School had already been launched by Ezra Cornell, one of the Cornell founders, in 1865. In 1946, a Public and Business Administration school was created, but only in 1984, thanks to a US$20 million donation from the Johnson?s family (at that moment, it was the highest donation ever made to a business school in the world), the school started to be called Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management, in the honor of Samuel Curtis, founder of the Johnson & Johnson?s empire.

Situated in Ithaca, northern New York State, the Johnson School is usually considered one of the best business schools in the United States and the world. Students who have the opportunity to study at Johnson School will have the support from an academic body comprised of more than 100 professors, access to Cornell?s facilities ? including its library (one of the biggest in the world) ? and study in the institution that graduated current CEOs of Kraft Foods, Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, among others.
