7th Executive Education Week gathers corporate leaders and experts in Sao Paulo
The event will bring together experts in a wide range of subjects, such as foreign relations, business management, marketing, government relations, and foreign trade, among several others.

FGV Executive Education will host the 7th Executive Education Week in Sao Paulo on February 18-22. The event will bring together experts in a wide range of subjects, such as foreign relations, business management, marketing, government relations, and foreign trade, among several others.
Three lectures will be featured on the opening day of the event. José Carlos Rapacci and Sergio Zimerman will discuss “The New National Scenario of the Vet and Pet Market”, a segment with a whopping annual growth rate of 20%. Fábio Lopes Soares will talk about “Compliance: foundations and relevance for the continuity of private and public companies”. Finally, Gilson Carvalho and Luiz Calado will present the “Behind-the-scenes of the largest financial operation of 2018. Impacts for the Finance context”. They will talk about how finance professionals can approach challenging scenarios to spearhead an unprecedented uptake on the capital market.
On February 19, Marcos Gaio will discuss “How to Translate a Global Strategy based on Local and Regional Reality, Main Topics”, one of the main challenges currently faced by multinational corporations. On the same day, Thomaz Marinho de Andrade Zanotto will draw an overview of Foreign Trade and outline Brazilian prospects for this segment in 2019.
The 7th EDEX Week will then host Tati Gracia and André Miceli in the lecture titled “Digital in 2019 – forecasts, strategies and tactics”; as well as Walnei Fernandes Barbosa, who will discuss the “Applicability of project management in healthcare and education”.
On the 21st, the event will feature the panels titled “Prospects in Government Relations: Strategies, Political-Institutional Aspects, Communication and Applied Cases”, followed by the launch of the book titled “FGV MBA in Government Relations: Selected Academic Projects – Volume 1”, with professors Andréa Gozzetto and Rodrigo Navarro. Also on the 21st, Hugo Santos will lead the debate titled “New Digital Models”.
On the last day of the event, Luciana Camargo will discuss how technology can impact talents, skills, and leadership in the lecture titled “Connecting the Future”. Finally, professor Guilherme Casarões of FGV’s School of International Relations (RI) will discuss the relations between “Brazil and the Middle East: Dilemmas of the New Foreign Policy”, moderated by Oliver Stuenkel, also from FGV’s RI.
