Business game brings students closer to practice in project management

The students of the Professional Master’s Degree in Management for Competitiveness (MPGC) of the Information Technology (IT) line had the opportunity to learn about project management in a practical manner, in an activity held on June 8. Under the coordination of Professor Cláudio Larieira, from the Department of Technology and Data Science (TDS), the students organized themselves into project teams and used an all-digital business game called Simultrain, in partnership with TecTrain.

During the activity, in addition to being able to practice good project management practices in a pragmatic and experiential way, the future Masters were also able to discuss how digital games aimed at business can leverage the teaching-learning process in administration.”

The MPGC focused on Information Technology considers three learning cycles: “Link,” which relates the use of technology with the internal and external reality of companies; “Knowledge,” which includes the supply of technology and its contribution potential; and “Value,” which measures and delivers the value of IT usage to a particular business.
