Corporate education: FGV In Company begins new customized projects for SESC, CADE and AGU

In April, FGV In Company began three new corporate education projects. These new programs, held in partnership with SESC, the Brazilian Antitrust Regulatory Agency (Cade) and the Federal Attorney General’s Office (AGU), were developed by FGV in order to meet the development needs of each partner.

SESC

The SESC Management Training Program was launched on April 6. The 144-hour course includes four webinars with thematic talks, six online modules moderated by professor-tutors and an end-of-course paper, based on projects aligned with SESC’s circumstances.

The opening talk was given by the director of FGV’s Center for the Development of Public Management and Educational Policy (FGV DGPE), Professor José Henrique Paim, who spoke about leadership. The event, held online, also featured the director general of SESC’s National Department, Carlos Artexes; and the course’s academic coordinator, Professor Hélio Arthur Irigaray of FGV EBAPE.

Cade

The third Graduate Course in Competition Defense and Economic Law had its inaugural class on April 8. The program will take place live, via web conferencing, supported by FGV’s online learning platform, ECLASS. The 432-hour program is divided into 17 modules. The course will also involve seminars and talks presenting practical cases.

The opening event, also held online, was attended by CADE’s president, Alexandre Barreto de Souza; the course’s academic coordinator, Professor Gesner Oliveira of FGV EAESP; and the executive director of FGV In Company, Professor João Lins.

AGU

FGV In Company’s partnership with the Federal Attorney General’s Office (AGU) continued on April 9, when another edition of the Executive MBA in Public Administration (CIPAD) began. The course consists of 18 modules, amounting to 432 hours of study.

The inaugural class, held remotely, was attended by Iêda Cagni, AGU’s general secretary; the executive director of FGV In Company, Professor João Lins; and Professor Armando Cunha, the course’s academic coordinator, who gave the event’s main speech.
