ESG agenda: Event discusses subjects related to science, education and technology

Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Center for Infrastructure and Environmental Solutions (FGV CEISA) is holding a series of talks on “Science, Education and Business in Favor of a Sustainable Future” in partnership with EY Brasil. The first of these public events will be livestreamed on FGV’s YouTube channel on June 13, at 2:30 pm.
The purpose of these events is to examine key issues on the ESG and sustainability agenda, in the context of new demands for best practices regarding the environment and social responsibility in both the corporate world and society as a whole.
The first edition in this series will feature Professor Danilo Aguiar of the Economics Department at São Carlos Federal University, who will give a talk called “The Economics of Climate Change.”
The moderators will be Gesner Oliveira (the coordinator of FGV CEISA) and Ricardo Assumpção (ESG and sustainability leader at EY South America).
