Event launches free online courses about digital transformation in education and teachers’ communication
On September 22, from 10 am to 11:30 am, FGV Executive Education, FGV High School and the FGV Center for the Development of Public Management and Educational Policy (FGV DGPE) will hold a webinar with experts to debate digital transformation in education and teachers’ communication. The event will also present eight new free online courses in the field of education, each lasting one hour. Students will receive a certificate of participation at the end.
During the webinar, the speakers will evaluate the impacts of digital transformation on education and its consequences for teachers’ communication, as well as solutions to tackle these challenges and opportunities for education.
The speakers will be Mozart Neves Ramos, a member of the National Education Council and holder of the Sérgio Henrique Ferreira Research Chair at the Institute for Advanced Studies at the University of Sao Paulo in Ribeirão Preto; and Raquel Villardi, who has a doctorate and master’s in vernacular literature from Rio de Janeiro Federal University.
The meeting will be open to the public and the moderator will be José Henrique Paim Fernandes, a professor at Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (FGV EBAPE) and the director of FGV DGPE. The webinar’s presentations will be given by Professor Marieta de Moraes Ferreira, the director of FGV Press and FGV High School; and Mary Murashima, the director of academic management at FGV’s Institute for Educational Development and an associate professor at Rio de Janeiro State University’s Literature Institute.
