Event to present winners of 3rd edition of Cryptocurrency Data Challenge
On November 9, at 6 pm, Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo School of Economics (FGV EESP) is holding a free webinar to present the three winning entries in a recent contest, designed to solve problems related to blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
FGV’s Cryptocurrency Data Challenge or “Datathon” is an initiative run by FGV EESP in conjunction with several institutional partners (Ripple Impact Fund, Hashdex, QR Capital, Portal do Bitcoin, USP-UBRI, FGV Crypto and GV Code) to encourage studies and activities involving blockchain and financial innovations, while promoting interaction between undergraduate students across Brazil.
In this year’s edition, the third held so far, 14 teams took part. They were composed of 50 undergraduate students from FGV, FIAP, ITA, Mackenzie, PUC-PR, UEMG, Maringá State University, UFMG, UFPA, UFPE, UFRA, UFRGS, UFT, UniCesumar, UNIP and USP. In this webinar, the three winning teams will present their solutions to problems related to blockchain and cryptocurrencies. They are as follows:
