Event in Sao Paulo marks the launch of Women in Tax Brasil
April 30 will mark the launch of Women in Tax Brasil (WIT Brasil), an independent organization established with the general goal of broadening the contact between women who work with Tax Law. Tathiane Piscitelli, Professor at FGV’s Sao Paulo Law School (Direito SP) and President of the Special Tax Law Commission of the Sao Paulo branch of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB-SP) will open the event alongside attorney Andrea Mascitto.
The launch event of WIT Brasil, which will be held at the headquarters of OAB-SP (Rua Dona Maria Paula, 35, Bela Vista, Sao Paulo, SP), will also feature panels on “Women in management and decision spaces” and “Taxation and gender inequality.” In addition, Professor Elizabeth Nazar Carrazza (PUC-SP) will be honored.
The proposal of WIT Brasil is to bring together female students, professionals from the public and private sector and academics to carry out various activities that discuss both taxation and other issues related to women’s careers and position in the labor market.
