As of today, June 26, Fundação Getulio Vargas is accepting applications for its 2024 selection process. There are 1,405 places available for courses starting in the first half of next year, divided across all FGV’s schools in Brasilia, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Interested candidates should apply on FGV’s applications website no later than October 20.

This year’s selection process will feature a new option, called the Social Demand and Diversity application process, aimed at candidates who studied entirely at public sector high schools and those who received a 100% scholarship at private schools due to their socioeconomic status, and/or those who declare themselves to be black, mixed-race or indigenous. This option is available for our business and public administration courses in Brasilia and Sao Paulo, and for our undergraduate law course in Sao Paulo.

Candidates may also apply for all courses based on their results in the National High School Exam (ENEM) or international exams or based on their performance in the Knowledge Olympiad in the specific cases of our economics course in Sao Paulo and our business and public administration courses in Brasilia. The application deadline for these options is January 5, 2024.

Fees

FGV offers a discount to candidates who apply for the selection process no later than 6 pm on August 11. This applies to the university entrance exam, Social Demand and Diversity application process and international selection process. Until this deadline, candidates will pay R$75. After then, the fee will be R$150.

Candidates applying based on their results in the National High School Exam (ENEM), for all schools, or based on their performance in the Knowledge Olympiad in the case of FGV EPPG in Brasilia, will pay R$25 until 6 pm on August 11. After this date, the fee will be R$50. The Sao Paulo School of Economics (FGV EESP) and Sao Paulo Law School are exceptions. At these two schools, the deadline for lower fees is the same but the regular and discounted fees are the same as those for the university entrance exam process (R$150 and R$75, respectively). The same applies to the Knowledge Olympiads-based selection process for a slot at FGV EESP.

Application fee waiver

Candidates who studied entirely at public sector high schools (municipal, state or federal government) or who received a 100% scholarship at private schools throughout their high school years due to their socioeconomic status are eligible for a waiver from the application fee.

To request this waiver, please attach the required documents when you apply, in accordance with the respective school’s policy, which you can find in the public notice on our website.

Exam calendar

The exams will be held in person on November 15 (and also on November 16 in the case of applications for our law and economics courses in the city of Sao Paulo).
