FGV EAESP wins international prize for innovation in research
The annual initiative aims to acknowledge institutions worldwide that act as advocates for change in the business education setting.

AACSB International, a leading accreditor of Business Schools worldwide, has given the Innovations that Inspire award to FGV’s Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP). The annual initiative aims to acknowledge institutions worldwide that act as advocates for change in the business education setting.
This year’s edition focused on knowledge co-creation – one of the five opportunities identified in the AACSB Collective Vision for Business Education. With research and thought leadership as a foundation, leading institutions are engaged in a wide range of collaborative partnerships to support new curricula, establish new products or services, and impact industry and government policies.
“We are honored to acknowledge FGV EAESP with its leadership by example – emphasizing its own areas of expertise and adopting collaborative approaches – while addressing critical issues to drive social change,” said Thomas R. Robinson, President and CEO of AACSB.
In its fourth edition, the “Innovations that Inspire” challenge highlighted more than 100 business school initiatives that exemplify forward-looking approaches to education, research, engagement, and community outreach and leadership. So far, the members of the AACSB Business Education Alliance have shared more than 800 innovations, creating a robust repository in the AACSB DataDirect system to inform and inspire colleagues and the industry.
“Business schools that engage in disciplines and the industry within and beyond the traditional boundaries of business and management exemplify AACSB’s vision for the future of business education,” said Robinson.
