FGV launches online graduate courses in Finance, Projects and Marketing
To make it into the job market, professionals have to be increasingly prepared and able to deal with the constant changes of today’s connected, globalized and technological world. In order to keep up with these new trends, Fundação Getulio Vargas has just launched Graduate FGV Online, recommended for senior professionals or recent grads looking for speedy training in a specific area to either join the job market or secure a new position.
The program combines the excellence and recognition of classroom programs already offered by FGV Executive Education across the country with all of the expertise of FGV Online, which has been a benchmark in Distance Learning (EaD) in Brazil for 20 years.
The courses were structured around the fields of Financial Management, Project Management and Marketing, offering the specialization needed to promote swift and objective professional development. Built entirely as distance learning courses with a duration of 11 months (with a single on-site exam at the end), the course is recommended for those who need flexibility to manage their own study time.
The programs cover 10 disciplines lasting for four weeks each, featuring different content formats (workbook, video lessons, podcasts, interactive games, etc.), synchronous activities (online conference classes), and evaluation based on individual tasks. In addition, the courses also feature lectures on current topics streamed from FGV Online’s studio and uploaded to the learning platform. The closing discipline in blended format is split into a distance learning phase and a classroom phase, along with the interdisciplinary workshop, providing students not only with excellent education, but also allowing them to network with professors and students of all Graduate FGV Online’s courses.
