FGV LAW: Diversity Program offers scholarships for people of different races, genders and social classes

FGV Sao Paulo Law School’s Non-Degree Graduate Law Program (FGV LAW) is now accepting applications for non-refundable scholarships as part of the FGV LAW Diversity Program, considering candidates’ social characteristics, namely race, ethnicity and gender identity combined with socioeconomic indicators. The deadline for applications is October 27.

Male and female candidates with the following profile may apply for FGV LAW’s non-degree graduate courses: family income of up to 1.5 minimum salaries per family member (income per capita), assets and liquidity evaluated together with declared income, and preference given to candidates who studied at public schools or had scholarships at private schools.

The FGV LAW Diversity Program is part of a set of scholarship programs offered by Fundação Getulio Vargas with the aim of enhancing and broadening the diversity of its students, as well as creating opportunities to mitigate obstacles imposed on students by their socioeconomic conditions and racial discrimination.

Those interested in participating should check out the information on the public contest website.
