FGV offers 73 vacancies in first half of 2021 for transfers and re-entry

Fundação Getulio Vargas is offering 73 vacancies in the first half of 2021 at its schools in Sao Paulo and Brasilia. These opportunities are part of its selection process for external transfers and for diploma holders (re-entry). Candidates for the Public Administration and International Relations courses in Sao Paulo and for the Public Administration course in Brasilia must apply by December 11. Candidates for the Business Administration course in Sao Paulo must apply by December 14.

Processes for transfers and diploma holders

The external transfer process is open to students who began their course at another institution and wish to move to FGV. The process for diploma holders (re-entry) is for people who want to do another undergraduate degree. FGV also offers different types of scholarships, which vary from school to school. Complete information can be found in the public notice for the respective selection process.

After paying the application fee, students must upload the necessary documentation. All communications will take place via the email address specified on the application form. Candidates are responsible for paying attention to the selection process’ stages and the institution’s instructions.

Selection

For the Public Administration course in Sao Paulo, candidates will be selected based on their thesis about contemporary Brazil, analysis of documents and an interview via Skype or Zoom on December 18. The results will be announced on January 13, 2021, after 6 pm.

For the Business Administration course, the selection process will be composed of four phases: Analysis of Results of Quantitative Logical Reasoning Test + English Reading Test and applied mathematics via Primeira Escolha (www.primeiraescolha. com.br/fgv), with costs borne by the candidates themselves; analysis of school transcript and subject credits; analysis of letter of motivation; and individual interview with 30 top-rated candidates who passed the three previous stages and who selected the English class option, and the 15 top-rated candidates who passed the three previous stages and who selected the evening class option, via Zoom, on December 18. The results will be announced on January 13, after 6 pm.

The School of International Relations will analyze the documents and interview candidates on December 17 and 18, via Skype or Zoom. The results will be announced on December 22, after 6 pm. In Brasilia, the selection method will be the same, but the interviews will be in person and the location will be reported by email to the participants. The results will be announced on January 13, 2021, after 6 pm.

All the successful candidates for all the schools must upload their documents and matriculate in person (as previously scheduled) between January 13 and 20, 2021.
