FGV undergraduate courses come top of Folha University Ranking in administration, law and economics
Fundação Getulio Vargas has performed strongly in another ranking of undergraduate course quality. Once again, the institution was rated among the best higher education institutions in the country in the Folha University Ranking, produced by newspaper Folha de S.Paulo. In this year’s edition, FGV came top among private-sector universities in the areas of administration, law and economics.
FGV took the top two slots for administration courses at private-sector universities in the 2019 Folha University Ranking. The FGV´s Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP) was ranked first, followed by the FGV´s Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (FGV EBAPE). Both schools also obtained excellent overall scores, featuring in the top 5.
In the area of law, the FGV´s Sao Paulo Law School came first out of private-sector universities, while the FGV´s Rio de Janeiro Law School came third. The latter school stood out as the only private-sector institution out of the 10 universities with the most successful candidates in the Brazilian Bar Association’s exam. The FGV´s Sao Paulo Law School made it to the top 3 in the 2019 Folha University Ranking.
These good results were repeated in the evaluation of undergraduate economics courses.
