Master’s candidates in Administration attend international module in Spain
Students from the Executive Professional Master’s in Business Management (MEX) and the Professional Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) of FGV’s Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (EBAPE) participated in an international immersion program in Spain. The program is the result of an initiative by the International Relations department and the Coordination of the School’s Professional Master’s programs, supporting EBAPE’s internationalization strategy.
This is the module’s third consecutive year at the ESADE School of Business, in Barcelona (Spain), enabling participants to expand their global outlook. Participants were able to learn more about the reality of Catalonia (Spain) and the European Union, promoting strategic insights to create innovative solutions in a international context.
The students participated in lectures by ESADE professors and also visited major corporations and institutions in the region. The lecturers talked about the economic situation of the European Union and shared their opinions regarding the potential impacts of Brexit on its future. Recognized for its excellence in the field of innovation and design thinking, the stay at ESADE allowed students to listen to professors and professionals on how to challenge paradigms and the importance of developing new and creative business models to remain competitive.
To illustrate the excellence of ESADE in the field of innovation and creativity, the students visited the ESADE Creapolis – a creativity hub housing everything from startups to midsize enterprises. In addition to lectures, participants also visited the company Fira de Barcelona, a Catalan giant in the field of events, and visited Barcelona Tech City, which is a private non-profit association open to the entire local and international technology ecosystem. It works with entrepreneurs, startups, consolidated companies, investors, incubators, accelerators, universities, business schools, media companies, government agencies and other entities.
With units in Madrid (Spain), Barcelona (Spain) and Buenos Aires (Argentina), ESADE Business School is considered one of the best business schools in the world and is one of the 57 schools in the world that achieved the so-called triple accreditation in the field of business (EFMD – Equis, AACSB and AMBA).
Registration for the selection process for the 2019 regular classes of EBAPE’s professional master’s programs is open until October 31. Go to the website to learn more about the programs.
