In order to talk about the metaverse’s possibilities and examples of how it is being used, Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP) is holding a free webinar on October 25, called “The Metaverse – Digital Innovation for Transformation and Value Creation.” The event is being held as part of the school’s Professional Master’s in Management for Competitiveness Program. It will be livestreamed at 6 pm on FGV’s YouTube channel.

The meeting will address the application of digital innovations in the business environment, often in combination, to transform and create value for both companies and society. The metaverse has great potential for new business practices and typical innovation challenges.

The webinar will be moderated by the coordinator of the Information Technology part of FGV EAESP’s Professional Master’s in Management for Competitiveness Program, Alberto Luiz Albertin. The speakers will be two members of the program’s Advisory Board: Francisco Massaro Mendes da Silva, the head of digital transformation at Ingredion South America; and João Marcos Silveira Bibar, Pede Pronto’s general manager.
