Mining and energy minister participates in lunch on energy sector recovery
On Friday, September 24, FGV Energy will host a lunch with the mining and energy minister, Bento Albuquerque, and other energy sector leaders, as well as FGV’s president, Professor Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal.
Measures to deal with Brazil’s drought and its potential impacts on the economy, among other subjects, will be discussed. The meeting will be attended by representatives of the National Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL), the Electricity Research Center (CEPEL), the Sao Paulo Metropolitan Water and Power Company (EMAE), the federal government’s Energy Research Company (EPE), Furnas, Light, Norte Energia and the National Electricity System Operator (ONS).
The event will take place in Fundação Getulio Vargas’ main office, in accordance with World Health Organization protocols, including in relation to social distancing.
