OneMBA: Applications open for best global executive MBA in Latin America

Geopolitical, economic, social and technological changes have transformed the job market, consumers’ preferences and business practices. New global leaders must be able to motivate their teams and lead partnerships, both in person and remotely. In addition to technical knowledge, executives and entrepreneurs increasingly need social and behavioral skills. In its efforts to train global leaders, Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP) has been accepting applications for its OneMBA program since March 21.

OneMBA is a global executive MBA carried out by a consortium of four renowned business schools: FGV EAESP (Brazil), Xiamen University School of Management (China), EGADE Business School (Mexico) and Miami Herbert Business School (United States). In the 20 years since it began, OneMBA has trained more than 1,500 executives of more than 50 different nationalities. The program is ranked by the Financial Times as the best global executive MBA in Latin America.

The course lasts for 18 months and it is taught entirely in English. In addition to a standard curriculum, OneMBA aims to develop multicultural competencies and interpersonal skills, which are essential for global leaders. Participants can also network with other executives from different backgrounds and different countries.

Another distinctive advantage of OneMBA is its global residencies, which are visits to seven countries where executives have different experiences. The scope of activities also includes visits to companies and workshops to explore the best business practices in each region and allow participants to understand how social, economic, political and cultural characteristics affect the way business is done.

At the end of the course, executives will have acquired global knowledge of business, which will allow them to manage crises, develop their teams and demonstrate cultural sensitivity, adapting their communications and strategy to global challenges.

The next OneMBA course will start in July of this year. The selection process consists of resume analysis and an interview with the selection committee.
